Shinn Family Farm sits on the shores of the beautiful Berlin Reservoir just outside of Alliance, OH. and in close proximity to a number of cities including Cleveland, Youngstown, Akron, and Canton. Since 1889, Seven generations of our family have worked this land at 15691 German Church Rd in Atwater.

But farming is changing, and we are changing with it. For this reason, we are able to offer you a small piece of the farm to keep your boat or RV, at Berlin Boat Storage.

While dropping or retrieving your stored unit, you might just run into a family member, and if you're lucky, Eileen (Shinn) Kutinsky, who is 92, full of joy and life, who still does many of the farm operations. She was born in a farmhouse on the farm in 1928, and her Dad was born on the farm in 1902. During the Great Depression, many farms were lost. But this family buckled down and made every square inch of the farm produce! Similarly, many small farms are once again being lost today.
